HSE Advisor

Responsibilities

-Follow up of subcontractors HSE Program and HSE Activity Plan.
-Support with evaluation and qualification of subcontractors and monitor their HSE performance.
-Prepare Emergency response and notification plans and supporting with training the emergency response organization.  
-Participate in and follow up project audits to ensure that the HSE management system is followed and maintained. 
-Ensure that HSE inspections are scheduled and carried out on project sites. 
-Ensure that HSE requirements are included in enquiries, bid clarifications and contract agreements with suppliers and subcontractors.
-Follow up the incident reporting from contractors.
-Facilitate risk workshops for fabrication and assembly activities.
-Facilitate lessons learned during the project.
-Support planning and execution of HSE campaigns together with contractors.
-Arrange familiarization meetings before travelling assembly sites to ensure good understanding of the planned scope of work and to familiarize personnel with HSE risks and contribute to good safety awareness.
-Support with recording and reporting of HSE statistics, incident and trend analyses.
-Ensure (or perform) incident investigations (depending on qualification).
-Provide the HSE input to the Weekly and Monthly Reports.

Required expertise

-Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline (Work experience can compensate for lack of formal qualifications).
-Minimum 5-10 years of experience following up HSE in fabrication.
-Trained facilitator
-Investigation lead (not mandatory, but a preferred competence)
