Responsibilities

-Participate as an SAS engineer in concept studies for the electrification of offshore installations (power from shore).
-Responsible for SAS system design.
-Establish a SAS signal list to C study level.
-Develop preliminary SAS topologies for the project.
-Provide input to cause and effect and shutdown philosophies.
-Participate in system design and safety reviews.
-Interface design with power management systems.
-Involve SAS system vendor for input to the study.
-Contribute to the study report.
-Perform other assigned tasks as needed.

Required expertise

-Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automation, Cybernetics, or Instrumentation.
-Minimum of 5 years of SAS engineering experience.
-Proficiency in specifying, integrating, and supporting process control and safety shutdown systems.
-Experience in procurement, installation, and maintenance of SAS-related equipment.
-Competent in developing system design documentation and performing IEC 61508/61511 analysis.
-Ability to translate process requirements and verify supplier deliverables.
-Strong understanding of input documentation from process, electrical, and safety disciplines.
Languages: Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
